Apple Blossom Textile Design

I was inspired by a trip to upstate New York in the Fall while living there. We were driving the scenic route there and kept seeing the Apple Blossom trees as we made our way to Storm King Art Center. I am constantly inspired by botanicals that are local to my travels or where I live. Different blooms in different seasons inspire me constantly. In this case I wanted to illustrate the apple blossoms in a warm palette of pinks and oranges following seasonal trending colors.
